Meghalaya reports 28 new Covid-19 cases

In Meghalaya, 28 new COVID-19 cases were reported yesterday out of which 21 are from East Khasi Hills district, five from Ri-Bhoi district and two from West Jaintia Hills district.
 
With these cases, the total number of active cases in the State has increased to 633.
 
East Khasi Hills district now has a total of 518 active cases including 226 in BSF, 233



civilians and 59 in Armed forces.
 
Ri-Bhoi district has 55 cases, five in West Khasi Hills district, 16 in West Jaintia Hills district, 17 in East Jaintia Hills, 16 in West Garo Hills district, four in South West Garo Hills, two in South Garo Hills district.
 
The total recovery in Meghalaya stands at 264.
