More 1,109 new Covid-19 cases witnesses in Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Arabia health ministry on Sunday, August 23, reported 1,109 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 1,702 recoveries.

Thirty new deaths were also recorded in the country as a result of the



illness.

This takes the total reported cases in the country to 307,479 and recoveries to 280,143. The death tally has now climbed to 3,649.

There are 23,687 active cases in the country, of which 1,644 are in critical condition.
