More new 1,513 COVID-19 cases, 34 deaths in Punjab

A total of 1,513 COVID-19 positive cases and 34 deaths surfaced in Punjab on Friday, taking the state tally to 39,327.

The state has 14,443 active cases while 23,893 patients have been cured and discharged from various hospitals in the



state.

Meanwhile, with 34 more deaths reported, the death toll in the state has climbed to 991. Of the 34 deaths, eight are reported from Ludhiana, five from Patiala, four from Kapurthala, three from Amritsar, two from Moga and one each from Barnala, Faridkot, Fatehgarh Sahib, Ferozepur, Gurdaspur, Mansa and SAS Nagar.
