More than 75 lakh people administered Covid-19 vaccine in country so far: Govt

The Government has said that more than 75 lakh people have been administered COVID-19 vaccine in the country so far. Union Health Ministry said, India is the fastest country to cross the 70 lakh vaccination mark.

In the last 24 hours, more than four lakh 87 thousand healthcare workers were vaccinated. The number of beneficiaries being



vaccinated every day is showing progressive increase. The total cumulative vaccination coverage includes over 58 lakh healthcare workers and over 16 lakh frontline workers. Ten States and Union Territories have vaccinated 69 per cent of the total beneficiaries. Uttar Pradesh alone accounts for 10.2 per cent of the total beneficiaries.
