In Bihar, over one lakh persons have so far been recovered from COVID-19 infection. In all, 2,908 people recovered from the virus infection in the past 24 hours, taking the recovery rate to over 82 per cent. This is seven per cent more than the national average.
The new cases of positive cases took the tally to one lakh 23,383. Patients who are undergoing treatment in various hospitals are 21 thousand 393. Casualties due to COVID are 627. The Coronavirus cases and the number of casualties are more among men than women. Majority of
men who died due to COVID-19 were in the 50 to 70 years age bracket.
Meanwhile, government and private buses will start plying across the state from today onwards. However, it will be mandatory for passengers , drivers and conductors to wear masks. The number of passengers, under any circumstances should not exceed the number of seats.
The State Government has allowed the sale of vegetables, meat and fish across the state from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
