Nagaland yesterday reported 20 new COVID-19 positive cases taking the total confirmed cases in the state to 3,031.
Health and Family Welfare Minister in a tweet informed that out of 192 samples tested, 10 new positive cases have been detected from Kohima, nine in Dimapur and one from Tuensang.
Among the positive cases reported, 13 are from Armed Forces, three from traced contacts and two each from returnees and frontline
workers.
In addition, 12 people have also recovered yesterday, taking the recovery tally to 985.
Presently, 2032 patients are receiving medical treatment at different COVID hospitals and COVID Care Centres.
Health Department COVID-19 bulletin s that among the 8 deaths reported in the state, 7 have died of COVID positive while one death is not COVID related.
