In Nagaland, 38 people yesterday tested positive for COVID-19, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 5,768 in the state. According to the State Health Department, among the new cases, 24 were reported from Dimapur, 12 from Kohima and one each from Mon and Wokha. Among these cases, 23 are from the traced contacts, 13 from the armed forces and two from travelers.
Meanwhile, 95 Covid
patients have recovered. With this, the state’s recovery rate has reached 80.39 percent. Currently, there are 1,083 active cases while 4,637 have recovered from the infection.
So far out of 16 deaths, 11 people have died of COVID-19 infection, while 5 deaths are not COVID related and 32 affected people have migrated to other states.
