In Nagaland, the total number of COVID-19 affected people has reached 11,728 with detection of 19 fresh positive cases yesterday.
 
Health and Family Welfare Minister S. Pangnyu Phom in a tweet said, eight cases were reported from Mokokchung, six from Dimapur and five from Kohima.
 
Meanwhile, 56 patients have recovered from the infection which included 29 from Kohima and 27 from Dimapur, while



one COVID death has been reported from Dimapur.
 
Out of 72 deaths registered, 62 died due to COVID, 7 deaths are non COVID related while 3 deaths are under investigation.
 
So far, 127 affected people have migrated to other states.
 
The total number of recovered cases has reached 10,939 while active cases stand at 590.
