No new coronavirus cases reported in A&N Islands

No single positive case of Covid-19 reported in Andaman & Nicobar Islands for the past three days. The number of active cases has declined to 8 while the recovery rate is more than 98 per cent. All the active cases belong to South Andaman District only.

Out of the total 4994 Covid-19 cases



reported, 4924 have recovered while 62 persons lost their lives so far. The test positivity rate is 2.28 per cent.

Meanwhile, the Covid-19 vaccination drive is also going on in the Islands. A total of 2773 beneficiaries vaccinated so far.
