Number of Coronavirus cases climb to 4721 in Gujarat

In Gujarat, the number of Covid19 cases has gone up to 4721 with 326 new cases reported on Friday.

According to sources, 3713 patients are stable while 36 patients are on ventilators. 236 people died so far, while 736 patients have been cured and discharged from the various hospitals.

Out of 326 new cases reported yesterday, 267 cases recorded in Ahmedababad only.

26 new cases recorded in Surat, while 19 cases recorded in Vadodara. Out of total 4721 cases in the state, 3293 cases are in



Ahmedabad.

State government and Municipal Corporation have taken series of steps to control the Covid19 spread in the hotspot areas.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani held interactions with the heads of 167 Nagarpalikas and Sarpanchs of 467 tribal villages of Panchmahal through video conferencing on the occasion of Gujarat Foundation Day.

Sarpanch of Tribal villages took the pledge for - “My Village, Corona Free Village.”
