Number of coronavirus cases rises to 531 in Telangana

In Telangana, 28 more people tested positive for Coronavirus yesterday. With this, the number of total Covid-29 cases has gone up to 531 in the state. Meanwhile, two more succumbed to Covid-19 yesterday taking the death toll to 16.

Meanwhile, the state government has stepped up measures to contain spread of Coronavirus. Over 200 containment zones have been identified and lock down has been made stringent to ensure no one from these areas come out of their houses. Special teams are delivering the essential commodities like milk, food and



vegetables at their door steps.

Efforts are also underway to ensure people medical facilities through digital means so that the services of Doctors will be extended to the people even in lockdown. 

A tele-medicine facility has been launched in Mahabubanagar district yesterday. The facility will ensure people within the district medical consultancy and also will deliver medicines at their doorsteps. In Khammam District also, the tele-medicine services will be available today onwards.
