The high-risk zones of COVID-19 in the national capital will be declared as orange zones. The Containment zones have already been declared as red zones in the city. 

Briefing reporters in New Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said a massive sanitation drive will be undertaken in these zones from today. He also expressed concern over increasing number of COVID-19 cases in Delhi saying his government is taking all necessary steps to contain the



outbreak.

Meanwhile, ten new areas were added to the list of such containment zones taking the total tally to 43 in the National Capital. Areas in Mahavir Enclave, Khadda colony in Jaitpur, Kachhi colony and Mehla Mohalla in Madanpur Khadar, H and E block in Abu Fazal Enclave, H and E block and Garhi area in East of Kailash have been identified as COVID-19 hotspots and orders have been given to seal these areas under the Operation Shield of the Delhi government.
