One more positive case of COVID-19 in Bhopal, total rise count to 5

A twenty-six-year-old woman in Bhopal tested positive for the coronavirus on Sunday, making it the fifth case of covid-19 in Madhya Pradesh and first from Bhopal.

Meanwhile, of the five coronavirus cases, four are from Jabalpur.

The woman, who is pursuing an LLM course in the United Kingdom, arrived in India on the morning of March 17. She took the Shatabdi Express to reach Bhopal from Delhi on the same day.

The woman lives in a posh



locality in the city where a large number of VVIPs also reside.

The woman had visited a private medical practitioner in the city to get herself treated for symptoms of flu. However, on Saturday, her family contacted the collector Tarun Pithode who sent a team of doctors to collect samples from her house. On Sunday, the test reports came positive.

The woman has also been asked for her travel history and the people she had met in the last few days after returning from the UK.
