New Delhi: More than 172 crore 95 lakh doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the country under Nationwide Vaccination Drive so far. Union Health Ministry said, more than 11 lakh 66 thousand doses were administered in the last 24 hours.

The Ministry said, more than one crore 73 lakh Precaution Doses for the identified categories of beneficiaries for COVID vaccination have been administered so far. For youngsters in the age group of 15 to 18 years, more than five crore 21 lakh Vaccine doses have been administered as first dose and one crore 50 lakh as second dose so far.

The Ministry said, a total of 34



thousand 113 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.  

During same period, a total of 91 thousand 930 people recovered and total recoveries touched over four crore 16 lakh. India's Active caseload currently stands at over four lakh 78 thousand and recovery rate is currently at 97.68 percent. The weekly positivity rate currently stands at 3.99 percent while the Daily positivity rate is at 3.19 percent.

Over 75 crore 18 lakh COVID tests have been conducted in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, more than 10 lakh 67 thousand tests were conducted.
