Over 6 crore 51 lakh doses of Covid vaccine administered to beneficiaries in country so far

Over six crore 51 lakh 17 thousand doses of Covid vaccine have been administered to the beneficiaries in the country so far. Union Health Ministry said that more than 20 lakh 63 thousand doses were given to the beneficiaries  in the last 24 hours.

 

A total number of 72 thousand 330 new cases have been reported in the country in the past 24 hours taking the cumulative positive cases to over one crore 22 lakh. The Health Ministry said, 459 deaths have been reported during the last 24 hour taking the toll to one lakh 62 thousand 927 across the country.

 

Meanwhile, the



country's COVID-19 recovery rate is 93.89 per cent with the total recovery of more than 40 thousand patients in the last 24 hours. The Ministry said over one crore 14 lakh patients have already recovered from this infection. Presently, the total number of active cases in the country is over five lakh 84 thousand which comprises only 4.78 per cent of the total positive cases.

 

The Indian Council of Medical Research said that various laboratories have conducted more than 11 lakh 25 thousand tests of corona virus samples during the last 24 hours.
