New Delhi: India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 75 crore 81 lakh. The Union Health Ministry said, around 57 crore vaccine doses have been administered as first dose and over 18 crore vaccine doses given as second doses. The Ministry said, more than 54 lakh Vaccine Doses have been administered till 7 pm yesterday.
The
new phase of universalization of COVID-19 vaccination commenced from 21st of June this year.
The Ministry said, the vaccination exercise as a tool to protect the most vulnerable population groups in the country from COVID-19 continues to be regularly reviewed and monitored at the highest level.
