New Delhi: India has administered over 84 crore 89 lakh doses of COVID vaccine so far under the nationwide vaccination drive. The Union Health Ministry said, more than 71 lakh four thousand vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.

The Ministry has said that over 28 thousand Covid patients recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate has reached 97.78 per cent which is highest since March 2020. So far, more than three crore 28 lakh people have recovered from COVID-19.

reported 29 thousand 616 new cases in last 24 hours. Currently, India’s active caseload is over three lakh one thousand. The active cases constitute less than one per cent of the total reported cases. However, the daily positivity rate stands at 1.86 per cent.

The Ministry said, the testing capacity across the country continues to be expanded and more than 56 crore 16 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far. Yesterday, over 15 lakh 92 thousand tests have been conducted across the country.
