Punjab reports 414 new Covid-19 cases

In Punjab, the surge in positive cases of COVID-19 is being observed from the last few days.Yesterday, 414 new persons tested positive for COVID-19 and 252 patients were also discharged from various hospitals after recovery whereas six  patients lost their lives.

Out of fresh 414 COVID positive cases, 81 are from Hoshiarpur, 69



from Patiala and 73 from Ludhiana.

With this, the number of persons tested positive so far has risen to 11,301 out of which 7,641 patients have cured and 269 have died due to this infection. At present, 3,391 COVID patients are under treatment in various hospitals of the state.
