Rajasthan: Covid-19 cases gone up to 21,404 in state

Record 716 people tested positive for COVID 19 in Rajasthan yesterday. In the last four days, an average of 588 cases of COVID 19 has been reported in the state. The total number of infected people in the state has gone up to 21,404. With 11 deaths yesterday, the total number of people who died due to COVID infection has reached 472. 

In the last few days, the infection has spread rapidly in western Rajasthan. 183 people were found infected in Jodhpur district yesterday while 112 persons



tested positive in Bikaner. 71 cases reported in Jaipur including three doctors of SMS Hospital.

 

Apart from this, more than 25 infected have been reported from Sikar, Sirohi, Jalore, Alwar, Nagaur and Barmer districts. There have been many cases of COVID outbreak due to marriage events. The number of active cases in the state has also crossed 4000 after several days. At the same time, the recovery rate has also come down to 77. 43 in the state.
