Rajasthan reports 659 new Coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

In Rajasthan, COVID-19 infection is spreading rapidly in the state. With 659 persons testing positive in the state yesterday, the number of infected people has gone up to two thousand 263. The number of active patients in the state has also increased to four thousand seven hundred 15. Ten persons have died due to COVID infection.

Maximum 143 people in Jodhpur district while one hundred 26 persons tested positive in Bikaner yesterday. Health Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma has said that the number of tests has been increased in the



state as compared to earlier. Hence the number of Corona positive patients have increased. He said that there has been a decline in the mortality rate in the state compared to the previous days, so there is no need to panic. 

Meanwhile, the Health Department has sent state level teams to Alwar and Pali districts for prevention and control of infection. The government has also constituted a state-level task force, which will analyze the data and submit a report to the government.
