Recovery rate of Covid-19 patients improves to over 26% in India

The recovery rate of COVID-19 patients has improved to over 26 percent in the country. A total of 10, 887 people have recovered after treatment and were discharged from the hospitals.

In the last 24 hours, 682 patients have recovered. The total number of confirmed cases in the country now stands at 40, 263 while a total of 1030 deaths have



been reported so far. With this, there are now 28, 070 active cases in the country.

Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan has urged people to observe the extended period of lockdown in letter and spirit and treat it as an effective intervention to cut down the chain of transmission of COVID-19.
