Saudi Arabia records 1,897 Covid-19 cases

The Saudi Arabia health ministry on Tuesday reported 1,897 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 2,688 recoveries.

Twenty-nine new deaths were also reported.

This takes the



total number of cases in the country to 270,831, while recoveries are at 225,624. The death tally now stands at 2,789.

There are 42,418 active cases in the country, the ministry said, of which 2,103 are critical.
