Saudi Arabia witnesses 987 new Covid-19 cases

The Saudi Arabia health ministry on Saturday, August 29, reported 987 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 1,038 recoveries.

Twenty-seven deaths were also reported in the country as a result of the



illness.

This takes the total reported cases in the country to 313,911 while recoveries now stand at 288,441. The death toll has climbed to 3,840.

There are 21,630 active cases in the Kingdom, of 1,555 which are in critical condition.
