Telangana government to hold a special cabinet meeting at Pragati Bhavan on Saturday at 3pm. CM likely to discuss major financial situation arising due to COVID-19 virus and also on the big issue about the extension of lockdown.
Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao earlier recommended that the lockdown be extended for two additional weeks, saying that the situation will become uncontrollable if the lockdown is hastily lifted.
KCR during a
media interaction appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to consider extending the nationwide 21-day lockdown period that officially ends on April 15.
More 31 fresh coronavirus cases were reported as of 5:00 PM on Apr 10 in Telangana, according to data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. This brings the total reported cases of coronavirus in Telangana to 473. Among the total people infected as on date, 35 have recovered and 7 have passed away.
