Tamil Nadu confirms 2,296 fresh Covid infections

Chennai: Tamilnadu has registered two thousand 296 new covid cases on Sunday. Eight thousand 229 covid patients have been discharged after recovery. A total of eleven deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. Forty-one thousand 699 active cases were reported



yesterday.

One lakh two thousand 916 samples were tested by RT PCR. Chennai and Coimbatore districts have recorded more than 400 covid cases. Chengalpattu, Erode, Salem and Tiruppur districts have reported more than hundred cases.
