Tamil Nadu detects 2,652 new COVID-19 cases, 35 deaths

Tamil Nadu has recorded 2,652 fresh Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, according to the state's Health Department. The total number of cases registered so far has increased to 7,19,403.

The state has been seeing a steady decrease in new Covid infections in the past few days as a positive



sign. 

About 4,087 Covid-19 patients tested negative today, after recovery. The total number of recovered patients has increased to 6,83,464. 

TN saw 35 Covid fatalities today, which is one of the lowest numbers in the past few days. The death toll in the state has increased to 11,053.
