Tamil Nadu detects 469 new COVID-19 cases

Tamil Nadu on Tuesday recorded 469 new cases of coronavirus, with the total number of positive cases mounting to 8,42,730.

Four deaths pushed the total number of fatalities to



12,391, according to a government bulletin.

Active cases slipped to 4,328.

As many as 491 people were cured of the dreaded virus, with the total recoveries surging to 8,26,011.
