Telangana adds 733 new Coronavirus cases

Hyderabad: Telangana on Friday reported 733 Covid-19 infections and one fatality, taking the overall number of deaths to 4,106 and the cumulative number of positive infections so far to 7,82,336. The active Covid-19 positive infections in Telangana, as on Friday, is 15,636.

A total of 185 Covid infections have been reported from areas under GHMC, 47 from Nalgonda, 44 from Medchal-Malkajgiri and 43 from Rangareddy



district.

The health department has conducted 56,487 Covid tests on Friday out of which results of 2,044 samples were awaited. A total of 2,850 individuals had recovered on Friday with a recovery rate of 97.48 per cent.

So far, the health department has conducted 3,29,01,796 Covid-19 tests in the State out of which 7,82,336 have tested positive and 7,62,594 persons have recovered.
