Telangana has reported 10 more coronavirus positive cases on Friday taking the total positive cases to 59 persons, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao announced here on Friday.
Addressing a press conference, Chandrashekhar Rao said 20,000 people have been under surveillance either in voluntary home quarantine or in government run isolation centres. The Chief Minister said the only way to contain the spread of coronavirus is social distancing and maintaining
hygiene.
One of the 59 positive cases, got cured and is discharged from the hospital. He appealed to people to realise that only following self-discipline and abandoning the idea of “nothing-will-happen-to-us” attitude.
Asserting that the government was prepared to meet any eventuality, he said he spoke to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday morning. He said the Prime Minister Modi assured Telangana all possible help.
