Telangana logs 10,122 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours

Telangana reported the highest number of 52 deaths due to COVID and other comorbidities on a single day, and reported 10 thousand 122 fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours. The state government in its Covid Bulletin stated that the state has currently over 69 thousand active cases. 

With this, the COVID related deaths in the state increased to 2094. With reporting over ten thousand fresh cases, the number of COVID cases reported so far in the state jumped to 4 lakh 11 thousand 905. While the recovery rate further dipped to 82.68 per cent during the past 24 hours, six thousand, 446 more people recovered from the disease. This took the total



recoveries in the state to over Three lakh, 40 thousand.

Meanwhile, the GHMC area reported 1440 fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours. Medchal Malkajgiri reported 751 fresh COVID cases while Warangal Urban reported 653, Ranga Reddy 621, and Nizamabad nearly five hundred fresh cases.  About 15 more districts reported over two hundred cases each.

Meanwhile, over Two Lakh 15 thousand people have been vaccinated on a single day yesterday at over 14 hundred Vaccination Centres. With this, over 42 lakh 85 thousand people have been vaccinated so far in the state.
