Telangana logs 1,061 new Coronavirus cases; 11 deaths

Hyderabad: Telangana reported 1,061 new Covid infections and 11 fatalities till Friday evening, pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 3,618 and the total number of positive cases to 6,18,837. The number of active cases in the State, as on Friday, is 15,524.

Between Thursday and Friday, authorities conducted 1,20,397 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 736 samples were awaited. On Friday, 1,556 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 96.90 percent, taking the total number of recoveries to 5,99,695. So far, a total of 1,81,28,055 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State.

Adilabad, 47 from Bhadradri, 135 from areas under the GHMC, 20 from Jagtiyal, 11 from Jangaon, 21 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, five from Jogulamba Gadwal, three from Kamareddy, 80 from Karimnagar, 52 cases from Khammam, six from Asifabad, 23 from Mahabubnagar, 44 from Mahabubabad, 51 from Mancherial, six from Medak, 47 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 22 from Mulugu, 12 from Nagarkurnool, 65 from Nalgonda, eight from Narayanpet, three from Nirmal, 10 from Nizamabad, 53 from Peddapalli, 19 from Rajanna Siricilla, 66 from Rangareddy, 14 from Sangareddy, 50 from Siddipet, 67 from Suryapet, 12 from Vikarabad, 16 from Wanaparthy, 17 from Warangal Rural, 46 from Warangal Urban and 27 from Yadadri-Bhongir.
