Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 129 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the tally to 2,96,802 while one death pushed the toll to 1,619, the government said on Tuesday.
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for the most number of cases with 23, followed by Rangareddy with nine a government bulletin said on Tuesday providing details as of 8 pm on February 15.
With 166 patients getting cured of the disease, recoveries mounted to
2,93,540.
The state has 1,643 active cases and 24,851 samples were tested on Monday.
Cumulatively, over 83.36 lakh samples have been tested.The samples tested per million population was over 2.23 lakh, the bulletin said.
The case fatality and recovery rates stood at 0.54 per cent and 98.90 per cent compared to the national average of 1.4 per cent and 97.3 per cent, it added.
