Telangana logs 1,492 new Covid-19 cases

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 1,492 new Covid infections and 13 fatalities on Thursday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,534 and the total number of positive cases to 6,09,417. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Thursday evening stood at 19,521.

Between Wednesday and Thursday, authorities conducted 1,19,464 Covid tests of which results of 1,346 samples were awaited. On Thursday, 1,933 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 96.21 per cent.

Jagtiyal, 14 from Jangaon, 25 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 15 from Jogulamba Gadwal, six from Kamareddy, 92 from Karimnagar, 129 from Khammam, one from from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 29 from Mahabubnagar, 67 from Mahabubabad, 49 from Mancherial, 13 from Medak, 83 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 31 from Mulugu, 16 from Nagarkurnool, 115 from Nalgonda, nine from Narayanpet, seven from Nirmal, eight from Nizamabad, 59 from Peddapalli, 28 from Rajanna Siricilla, 92 from Rangareddy, 18 from Sangareddy, 53 from Siddipet, 89 from Suryapet, 19 from Vikarabad, 27 from Wanaparthy, 20 from Warangal Rural, 65 from Warangal Urban and 27 from Yadadri Bhongir.
