Telangana logs 2,574 fresh COVID-19 cases, 9 fatalities

Telangana recorded 2,574 new Covid-19 infections and nine fatalities on Saturday, taking the overall toll to 886 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 1, 40, 969. As on Saturday, the total active Covid-19 cases in TS are 32, 553.

A total of 2, 927 persons have recovered by Saturday, pushing the



overall Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 1, 07, 530 with a recovery rate of 76.2 per cent while the countrywide recovery rate is at 77.29 per cent.

A total of 25, 449 Covid-19 positive patients, out of 32, 553 active cases, are under home isolation across the State while 7, 104 positive cases are in institutional care.
