Telangana logs 301 new Covid-19 cases

Hyderabad: Telangana reported 301 new Covid infections and two fatalities on Monday, taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,886 and the total number of positive cases to 6,59,844. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Monday, was 5,505.

The authorities yesterday conducted 67,720 Covid tests of which results of 1,400 samples were awaited. A total of 339 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98.57 per cent on Monday. So far, a total of 2,50,35,959 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,59,844 have tested positive and 6,50,453 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included three from Adilabad, eight from



Bhadradri Kothagudem, 70 from areas under GHMC, 10 from Jagtiyal, four from Jangaon, three from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, two from Jogulamba Gadwal, three from Kamareddy, 31 from Karimnagar, 13 from Khammam, four each from Komarambheem Asifabad and Mahabubnagar, three from Mahabubabad, seven from Mancherial, one from Medak, 12 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, five from Mulugu, four from Nagarkurnool, 12 from Nalgonda, one from Narayanpet, three from Nirmal, four from Nizamabad, 13 from Peddapalli, nine from Rajanna Siricilla, 16 from Rangareddy, three from Sangareddy, six from Siddipet, eight from Suryapet, four from Vikarabad, six from Warangal Rural, 22 from Warangal Urban and seven from Yadadri Bhongir.
