Telangana logs 987 new Covid-19 cases

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 987 new Covid infections and seven fatalities till Tuesday evening, pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 3,651 and the total number of positive cases to 6,22,593.

The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Tuesday was 13,487.

Between Monday and Tuesday, authorities conducted 1,21,236 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 1,327 samples are awaited. 

On Tuesday, 1,362 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 97.24 per cent. So far, a total of 1,85,62,105 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,22,593 have tested positive and 6,05,455 persons have recovered.

reported from the districts included one from Adilabad, 60 from Bhadradri, 130 from areas under GHMC, 25 from Jagtiyal, seven from Jangaon, 18 from Bhupalpally, two from Gadwal, four from Kamareddy, 52 from Karimnagar, 102 cases from Khammam, four from Asifabad, 11 from Mahabubnagar, 40 from Mahabubabad, 52 from Mancherial, five from Medak, 46 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 19 from Mulugu, nine from Nagarkurnool, 69 from Nalgonda, two from Narayanpet, three from Nirmal, ten from Nizamabad, 51 from Peddapalli, 27 from Siricilla, 42 from Rangareddy, 18 from Sangareddy, 24 from Siddipet, 64 from Suryapet, six from Vikarabad, seven from Wanaparthy, 23 from Warangal Rural, 38 from Warangal Urban and 16 from Bhongir.
