Telangana records 1,061 new Covid cases

Hyderabad: Telangana on Tuesday has reported 1,061 Covid-19 infections out of which 274 positive cases were from areas under GHMC. The health authorities also have reported a Covid fatality on Tuesday, taking the overall number of deaths in TS to 4,102. 

The active Covid-19 positive infections in Telangana, as on Tuesday, is 21,470.

In districts, the authorities have reported 78 Covid infections each from



Medchal-Malkajgiri and Rangareddy districts. The health department has conducted 69,892 Covid tests on Tuesday out of which results of 2,018 samples were awaited. On Tuesday, 3,590 individuals had recovered with a recovery rate of 96.72 per cent.

So far, a total of 3,27,24,987 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 7,79,971 have tested positive and 7,54,399 persons have recovered.
