Telangana records 1,432 new Covid-19 cases

Telangana reported 1,432 new COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours. With this, the total COVID cases in the state gone up two lakh 17 thousand 670. The state conducted over 38 thousand tests yesterday. The recovery rate also slightly improved to 88.76 per cent with 1,949 more people recovering yesterday. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to one lakh 93 thousand 218.

The daily bulletin issued by the State Medical and Health Department,



stated that total deaths rose to 1,249 following death of eight more people due to COVID and comorbidities during the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 244 new COVID-19 cases reported in Hyderabad while Medchal Malkajgiri district reported 115 new cases. Ranga Reddy, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda and Suryapet districts are among which reported considerably high number of cases during the past 24 hours.
