Telangana records 154 new Coronavirus cases

The surge in coronavirus positive cases continued in Telangana with authorities reporting 154 new Covid-19 cases and 14 fatalities on Sunday, taking the total number of infections to 3650 and fatalities to 137.

The 14 fatalities on Sunday is also the largest number of persons to have died due to Covid-19 in a single day in the State.

Of the 154 coronavirus positive cases reported today, 132 were from areas under



GHMC, 12 from Rangareddy, three from Medchal, two from Yadadri and one each from Siddipet, Mahabubabad, Sangareddy, Nagarkurnool and Karimnagar. Meanwhile, 32 patients were discharged on Sunday which has taken the number of recovered cases to 1742.

Of the total 3650 Covid-19 cases, there are 1771 active patients, 137 patients have died and 1742 persons have recovered and discharged.
