Telangana records 1,590 more infections of COVID-19

Telangana reported 1,590 new Covid-19 infections and seven fatalities on Sunday, pushing the toll to 295 and the cumulative total of positive cases to 23, 902. According to the health bulletin, 1277 persons have tested positive for Covid-19 from Hyderabad while another 125 have tested positive from Medchal district.

On Sunday, the health authorities also discharged 1,166 patients, taking the overall number of



patients who have recovered to 12,703 while the number of active cases in home isolation and institutional care across the State is 10,904.

In the last 24 hours, according to the bulletin, 5, 290 samples were tested out of which 3,700 have tested negative while 1,590 samples tested positive. Overall, the 1,15,835 samples have been tested out of which 91, 933 samples have tested negative while 23, 903 tested positive.
