Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 2,058 new Covid-19 infections and 10 fatalities on Monday, taking the overall toll to 984 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 1,60,571. As on Monday, the total number of active cases in the State is 30,400.
A total of 2,180 persons have recovered by Monday, taking the overall recoveries in the State to 1,29,187 at a recovery rate of 80.45 percent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 78.26 percent.
Between Sunday and Monday, officials conducted 51,247 Covid tests while reports of another 908 samples are awaited. So far, 22,20,586 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State.
There are 23,534 Covid-19 patients under home isolation across the State while 6,866 cases are in institutional
care.
The cases reported from the districts include 20 from Adilabad, 75 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 277 from areas under the GHMC, 52 from Jagtiyal, 30 from Jangaon, 28 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 29 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 43 from Kamareddy, 135 from Karimnagar, 103 from Khammam, 24 from Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, 38 from Mahabubnagar, 68 from Mahabubabad, 41 from Mancherial, 38 from Medak, 97 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 36 from Mulugu, 42 from Nagarkurnool, 96 from Nalgonda, 13 from Narayanpet, 42 from Nirmal, 84 from Nizamabad, 48 from Peddapally, 45 from Rajanna Sircilla, 143 from Rangareddy, 24 from Sangareddy, 106 from Siddipet, 62 from Suryapet, 24 from Vikarabad, 23 from Wanaparthy, 11 from Warangal Rural, 108 from Warangal Urban and 53 from Yadadri Bhongir.
