Telangana records 3,816 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 3,816 new Covid infections and 27 fatalities on Sunday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 2,955 and the total number of positive cases to 5,28,823. The number of active cases in Telangana as on Sunday evening stood at 50,969.

Between Saturday and Sunday, authorities conducted 44,985 Covid tests of which results of 1,396 samples were awaited. On Sunday, 5,892 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 89.80 per cent. So far, a total of 1,40,61,725 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 5,28,823 have tested positive and 4,74,899 persons have recovered.
