Telangana records 6,026 new Covid-19 cases, 52 fatalities

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 6,026 new Covid-19 infections and 52 fatalities on Wednesday, pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 2,579 and the total number of positive cases to 4,75,748. The number of active cases in the State is now 77,127.

Between Tuesday and Wednesday, authorities conducted 79,824 Covid-19 rapid tests, of which



results of 4,091 samples are awaited. On Wednesday, 6,551 individuals recovered while the recovery rate was 83.24 percent.

 

So far, a total of 1,33,47,076 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State, out of which 4,75,748 have tested positive and 3,96,042 persons have recovered.
