Telangana registers 1,489 fresh Coronavirus cases

Hyderabad: The number of active cases in the state has dipped below the 20,000-mark on Wednesday and now stands at 19,975. This, at it recorded 1,489 new cases of Covid-19 and 11 deaths, taking the cumulative caseload to 6,07,925 and death toll to 3,521. 

There are currently 311 active



containment zones in the state, while Hyderabad has 11 containment zones. As many as 1,436 patients were declared recovered on Wednesday, taking the total number of recoveries in the state to 5,84,429. 

Greater Hyderabad recorded 175 new cases on Wednesday.
