Telangana Reported Highest Number of 8,126 New COVID-19 Cases on Single Day

Telangana reported the highest number of 8,126 fresh COVID-19 cases on a single day, during the past 24 hours. According to the State Covid Bulletin, 38 more succumbed to COVID-19 and other comorbidities taking the COVID death toll in the state to 19 hundred 99. While the recovery rate further dipped to 83.57 per cent during the past 24 hours, 3307 more people recovered from COVID. This took the total recoveries in the state to over Three lakh, 30 thousand.

 

The state has currently about 63 thousand active cases. With this, the number of COVID



cases reported in the state so far has gone up to Three lakh, 95 thousand, 232. Meanwhile, the GHMC area reported 12 hundred 59 fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours. Medchal Malkajgiri, Rangareddy, Nizamabad reported around five hundred cases each while many other districts reported over two hundred fresh cases each.

 

 Meanwhile, over 2 lakh Two thousand people have been vaccinated on a single day yesterday at nearly 14 hundred vaccination centres across the state. With this, over 40 lakh people have been vaccinated so far in the state.
