Telangana reports 1,088 new Covid-19 cases

Hyderabad: Telangana on Thursday reported 1,088 new Covid infections and nine fatalities taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,607 and the total number of positive cases to 6,17,776. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Thursday, stood at 16,030.

Between Wednesday and Thursday, authorities conducted 1,19,466 Covid tests of which results of 946 samples were awaited. On Thursday, 1,511 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 96.82 per cent. 

So far, a total of 1,80,07,658 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,17,776 have tested positive and 5,98,139 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included two



cases from Adilabad, 51 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 137 from areas under GHMC, 22 from Jagtiyal,10 from Jangaon, 22 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, six from Jogulamba Gadwal, two Kamareddy, 64 from Karimnagar, 86 cases from Khammam, seven from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 24 from Mahabubnagar, 50 from Mahabubabad, 42 from Mancherial, 10 from Medak, 54 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 21 from Mulugu, 14 from Nagarkurnool, 68 from Nalgonda, seven from Narayanpet, four from Nirmal, seven from Nizamabad, 48 from Peddapalli, 18 from Rajanna Siricilla, 65 from Rangareddy, 17 from Sangareddy, 42 from Siddipet, 64 from Suryapet, 15 from Vikarabad, 18 from Wanaparthy, 23 from Warangal Rural, 39 from Warangal Urban and 29 from Yadadri Bhongir.
