Telangana reports 1,114 new Covid-19 cases

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 1,114 new Covid infections and 12 fatalities till Wednesday evening, pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 3598 and the total number of positive cases to 6,16,688. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Wednesday, is 16,462.

Between Tuesday and Wednesday, authorities conducted 1,18,109 Covid tests of which results of 1,113 samples were awaited. On Wednesday, 1,280 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 96.74 per cent. 

So far, a total of 1,78,88,192 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,16,688 have tested positive and 5,96,628 persons have recovered.

from the districts included two cases from Adilabad, 59 from Bhadradri, 129 from areas under GHMC, 23 from Jagtiyal, 11 from Jangaon, 21 from Bhupalpally, seven from Gadwal, three from Kamareddy, 69 each from Karimnagar and Khammam, six from Asifabad, 23 from Mahabubnagar, 44 from Mahabubabad, 49 from Mancherial, eight from Medak, 58 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 24 from Mulugu, 12 from Nagarkurnool, 72 from Nalgonda, six from Narayanpet, three from Nirmal, eight from Nizamabad, 53 from Peddapalli, 16 from Siricilla, 75 from Rangareddy, 16 from Sangareddy, 44 from Siddipet, 69 from Suryapet, 14 from Vikarabad, 17 from Wanaparthy, 16 from Warangal Rural, 53 from Warangal Urban and 35 from Bhongir.
