Telangana reports 253 fresh cases of Covid-19

Telangana reported 253 fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours. With this, the total number of COVID cases reported in the state has gone up to two lakh 87 thousand 993.

 

The state conducted over 42 thousand tests yesterday. The recovery rate reported at 97.71 per cent with 317 more people recovering yesterday. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to two lakh 81 thousand 400.

 

The Daily Bulletin issued



by the State Medical and Health Department stated that total 1,554 deaths reported so far, following three more persons succumbed to COVID and comorbidities during the past 24 hours.

 

Meanwhile, 61 new cases were reported in Hyderabad during the past 24 hours while considerably high number of fresh COVID -19 cases were reported in Warangal Urban, Rangareddy, Medchal Malkajgiri, Karimnagar and Nalgonda districts.
