Telangana reports 2,817 new Covid-19 cases

Telangana today crossed one lakh mark in COVID recoveries. The state reported total 1,00,013 recovery so far with reporting 2611 people recovering and discharging from various hospitals in the state during the past 24 hours. The state also reported slight improvement in recovery rate to 74.9 per cent from 73 per cent last week against the national rate of 77.09 per cent. Meanwhile, the state also conducted over 15. 42 lakh COVID tests so far ever since its outbreak.

 

The surge in the number of Covid-19 cases being reported



every day continues with an addition of 2817 new cases yesterday. As per the daily bulletin issued by the state Medical and Health department this morning, 2817 persons tested positive for Coronavirus on conducting about 60 thousand tests during the past 24 hours. With this, the number of total COVID -19 cases reported so far in the state increased to one lakh 33 thousand 406 (1,33,406). 

Meanwhile, 10 more died yesterday taking the total COVID-19 toll to 856.
