Telangana reports 499 new Covid-19 cases

In the highest single day jump in Covid-19 infections, Telangana state reported 499 Coronavirus positive cases yesterday. With this, the number of total reported COVID-19 cases in the state has gone up to 6526. Out of the fresh cases, hotspot Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area accounted for 329 cases. Adjoining Rangareddy district reported 129 cases. 31 more cases were reported from 13



other districts across the state.

Meanwhile, 51 more patients recovered from COVID-19 and were discharged from various hospitals in the state taking the total number of recoveries to 3352. The state also saw three deaths during the last 24 hours, pushing the death toll due to COVID-19 and other comorbidities to 198.
